Associate membership is open to anyone over the age of 18. There is no European residential requirement and no need to prove lineal descent from a Mayflower passenger. Associate Members are warmly welcomed to attend all SMD(E) events, but are not considered members of the worldwide GSMD, unless they also hold membership in another Society.  They are not eligible to vote or to serve on the SMD(E) board.  Associate Membership is the perfect solution for any non-lineage friend or family member wishing to join in the SMD(E)’s activities with a Full Member.
